Oktoberfest takes place in Munich, Bavaria, each autumn and, as well as being the world's largest funfair, is a 16 day folk and beer festival, with more than six million people attending each year. Although many other towns and cities around the world now hold Oktoberfest style celebrations, the Munich Oktoberfest is the original, dating back to 1810. The festival is a great way to experience traditional Bavarian culture, food and drink and is a must for beer lovers everywhere.
