Testimonials

Our driver was Chris and we cannot sing his praises enough. Not only was he personable, flexible and knowledgeable, but he went above and beyond, researching my heritage in the evenings and leading us to spots we'd never have found on our own.

Great Britain - England

England is a diverse country. From the buzz of its capital, London, with the royal grandeur and pageantry of Buckingham Palace to the rolling hills and chocolate box cottages of The Cotswolds, to the charm of Cornwall and Devon’s fishing villages.

Great Britain - Scotland

Scotland offers a fantastic mix of stunning mountainous landscapes topped off with a colourful history of epic battles. No wonder it has more castles per acre than the rest of the UK, from magnificent city landmarks to mysterious ruins.

Great Britain - Wales

A small country with a big personality, Wales has a distinct culture and an action-packed 2000 years of history. The number of castles are testament to this - no less than 641. From defensive beginnings to Tudor banqueting and Victorian decadence, the splendour of these fortresses will touch the soul. Dozens of them are beautifully preserved and in spectacular surroundings.

Great Britain - Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland is one of one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the United Kingdom, as more and more people discover the charms of this beautiful place with its rolling countryside, rugged coastline, bustling capital city and friendly people.

Ireland

A warm  welcome awaits in Ireland, a country steeped in myths and legends. Enjoy a ‘proper’ Guinness in one of its welcoming pubs and chat with the locals. Take in the rugged coastal landscape or the tranquil lakelands of Killarney.

Austria

Although Austria is largely mountainous – that rugged Alpine landscape which we are all familiar with – about a quarter of the country is low lying and this is where some of the most famous Austrian cities, such as Vienna, Linz and Salzburg, are located.

Belgium

Belgium is a small country at the heart of Europe, sometimes overshadowed by its larger neighbours France, Germany and The Netherlands, but bursting with history, unrivalled medieval architecture and famous for its food and drink.

France

Over 80 million visitors can’t be wrong. This is how many people visit France each year, putting France in the top spot as the most popular vacation destination in the world. It’s no wonder, with vibrant cities, a rich heritage, tranquil beaches and enviable ski resorts.

Germany

The rich imperial past of Germany is still evident in its cities today. Explore fairytale castles (Mad King Ludwig’s creation in a superb Alpine setting has to be one of the best) and Prussian palaces and gardens.

Greece

Greece was the birthplace of democracy and is often called the cradle of Western civilisation, so a visit to this inspirational country is an essential part of any European tour.

Italy

Italy is a land of diverse landscapes – with the breathtaking Alps in the north, the rolling hills of Tuscany and Umbria and the rugged landscape of the Apennines and the Bay of Naples, dominated by Mount Vesuvius - all truly breathtaking. Not forgetting the Amalfi coast and Monte Argentario, popular coastal destinations.

Morocco

Experience a taste of the exotic just a stone’s throw away from Europe in Morocco – a land of great beauty and diversity. With a magnificent coastline, the rugged Atlas mountains, a warm Mediterranean climate in the north and dry, sandy deserts in the south, Morocco really does have something for everyone.

Portugal

Portugal is famous for its attractive scenery, with white beaches and quiet coves, some of Europe’s best links golf courses, cosmopolitan clubs and traditional Fado bars. The unspoilt capital, Lisbon, is one of the oldest cities in the world and its varied architecture stretches back many centuries.

Spain

Spain is a country of passion and its heritage is steeped in religion. Marvel at Gaudian architecture in Barcelona, journey through Roman ruins and medieval Spanish cities and witness the rugged mountain scenery the Pyrenees has to offer.

Switzerland

Switzerland is almost too perfect to be real. Travelling from town to town by train is the best way to see the mountain and lake panoramas. The Swiss Alps, by their nature, are spectacular, but when you join the Glacier Express - the word’s slowest express train - you’re spoiled with unparalleled views of majestic Alpine landscape.

The Netherlands

The Netherlands is a country steeped in history and culture. Marvel at the basilicas of Maastricht and the cathedral of Den Bosch, the Art Museum and Sculpture Garden in the heart of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. Climb the Dom Tower in Utrecht, visit the mills of Kinderdijk or cycle through the bulb fields, Giethoorn and along the dolmens.
