You collectively planned and implemented an ambitious trip visiting a lot of gardens, covering a lot of miles, in a way that insured we would both enjoy all the gardens, and overall feel safe and well taken care of.

At Janet Redler Travel, we pride ourselves on delivering luxury vacations for visitors who take their pleasures seriously and we are pleased to offer a wide range of tailor made academic and alumni tours of the UK and Ireland.
King's College, University of Cambridge
We have many years' experience delivering customised tours for groups from universities, colleges and academic institutions. We just love to research, plan and manage vacations for those who are looking for intellectual stimulation and who want to travel with like-minded alumni, colleagues or friends.
Our first class team, led by Janet Redler herself, comprises academics and experts who will be with you on your tour to help make it an experience you will never forget. Janet herself is a first language Welsh speaker who knows Wales inside out and is passionate about her home country. Director Nick Bardsley is an Oxford educated historian with a legal background and, when we need to, we call on the services of Helen Moriarty, an expert on landscapes and gardens, and Nick’s daughter Lydia Bardsley, a linguist from Trinity College, Cambridge.
Our VIP Associate is Nicholas Olsberg, historian, archivist, curator and writer. Previously Director of the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal, Canada, his architectural publications include work on Marcel Breuer and Carlo Scarpa, with major studies and exhibitions on Frank Lloyd Wright, Arthur Erickson, Carlos Diniz and John Lautner.
Whether you are looking for a tour focused on the magnificent castles and palaces of England and Wales, a tour of UK cultural institutions, from the British Museum to the National Gallery, or you are keen to enjoy music and the performing arts, we can create the perfect tour for you. You could also discover more about the history of the UK and Ireland by exploring the archives, collections and manuscripts of these countries on one of our tailor-made tours.
Why not follow in the footsteps of one of the world's greatest playwrights on one of our tailor-made Shakespeare Tours? Explore the medieval town of Stratford-upon-Avon where 'the Bard' was brought up and enjoy theatre as it was in Shakespeare's time at The Globe in London.
Or perhaps your tour will include meetings and conferences? If so, we can build a personalised itinerary which combines business and pleasure, and helps you get the most out of your free time while keeping your professional requirements at heart.
Of course, as well as intellectual stimulation, our goal is to deliver a relaxing, stress free tour and our itineraries can include as much (or as little) leisure time and relaxation as you choose. And with access to the finest hotels and the best restaurants, we aim to deliver a travel experience that is second to none.
