Brighton Royal Pavilion is Brighton’s most famous attraction and a must see for any visitor to the town. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV in the late 18th Century, the Royal Pavilion is one of the most unusual and exotic royal residences in Britain – easily distinguished by its oriental looking domes and minarets.
If shopping is your thing, there really is nowhere quite like the Brighton Lanes – an historic area of the town which is famous for its maze of twisting, narrow alleyways and the wealth of quirky shops located there. Wander leisurely through the bustling crowds, grab a coffee and listen to jazz while browsing the boutiques and antiques shops.

As one of the most popular seaside resorts in Britain, nothing beats a bracing stroll along Brighton Seafront. Even if it isn’t quite the weather at this time of year for sitting on the beach or putting a toe in the sea, there is much to enjoy as you take in the sea air and the lively seaside atmosphere.
Brighton Pier is recognised worldwide as one of the finest piers ever built. First opened in 1899, the pier has a fascinating history and now boasts a wide range of fairground rides and attractions and is the perfect place to experience traditional English fish and chips.

For those with a love of all things nautical, a stroll to Brighton Marina to gaze in awe at the multitude of fabulous yachts and sailing boats is not to be missed. Enjoy wandering through the fashionable shops and perhaps stop for a meal in one of the waterfront eateries.
Brighton is also famous for its nightlife and draws visitors from all over Britain and further afield to its many bars, clubs and restaurants. There is certainly no shortage of things to do for night owls!
