Happy Christmas from Janet Redler Travel
A very happy Christmas and best wishes for the New…
"Dear Janet and Jan, this is a long overdue thank you to you both for organizing such a wonderful trip for us! We had a wonderful time, and all worked out very well… and smoothly. All in all, it was an outstanding trip! Huge thanks to you both for making so many wonderful arrangements."

According to figures just released for 2014, shopping is one of the most popular activities for visitors to Britain.
Britain was, according to Napoleon, a nation of shopkeepers and it seems visitors from across the world agree and are coming to Britain to experience its wide range of retail outlets as well as its rich history, heritage and scenery.
At Janet Redler Travel and Tourism, we know that many of our visitors like to include a little retail therapy whilst on vacation, with our guests taking the opportunity to buy some souvenirs of their travels. However, even we are surprised to learn that the types of products most likely to be bought by visitors, according to Visit Britain, are shoes and clothes followed by cosmetics and books.
Says Janet Redler: "We all like to buy mementoes of our vacations and holiday trips and, over the years, we have helped many of our visitors pick up something special, but the revelation that visitors are mostly looking to buy shoes and clothing was something of a surprise to me.
"I remember once a guy asked us 'do you ship?' 'Yes, Sir' I said as we agreed to ship a Renault fire truck to the West Coast of America. It arrived in LA in about three weeks - yes we really can help with shopping!"
Visit Britain statistics show that at least 64% of all visits to Britain involved shopping in 2014 and this figure jumped to almost 82% amongst visitors on vacation.
Around 22 million visits included shopping in 2014, and just over 300,000 trips to Britain were mainly for personal shopping.
Visit Britain found that half of all visitors included a trip to a High Street store or shopping centre, with a quarter (26%) visiting a department store, outlet villages or luxury / designer shop.
About one in five visits included a trip to a souvenir shop, no doubt for travellers to find that treasured memento of their vacation.
So if you are planning to take a trip to Britain next year, remember to pack an extra bag if you will be hitting the High Street shops!
