Janet Redler Travel and Tourism played host to professionals from Ireland’s tourist industry recently, who were in Britain to promote the first class tourist facilities provided in the country.

Sara Waldburg from Houses, Castles and Gardens of Ireland, which represents historic properties throughout Ireland, Nicola Meenan from On Campus, which promotes the facilities offered by Irish universities, and Susanne Reid, from Dublin’s Christchurch Cathedral, were on a three day visit to Great Britain sponsored by Tourism Ireland.
Janet Redler says: “We were delighted to welcome the visitors to our office in Shrewsbury to discuss the possibilities for tourism in Ireland over tea, coffee and homemade apple cake, which went down particularly well!”
Janet Redler Travel and Tourism has considerable experience of Ireland as a destination for visitors from the United States, including couples, families and also large groups such as the Californian youth group Starfire, which spent several days in Ireland in 2013.
“We are currently planning a number of European tours for groups from the United States, and Ireland will be central to many of them,” adds Janet Redler. “The high quality of university accommodation available from On Campus in Dublin and Cork for example, is of particular interest for our larger groups; Christchurch Cathedral is the perfect setting for performances for the choirs we bring to Europe, and Houses, Castles and Gardens of Ireland offers many interesting and exciting venues which are essential to the tourist itinerary.”
Ireland is always a popular destination for visitors from the United States and Janet Redler Travel and Tourism will be meeting travel industry professionals in the United States over the coming weeks to promote the tailor-made tours they offer.
Janet Redler concludes: “Although we have organised many successful tours of Ireland, our expertise in bringing visitors to the country has been greatly enhanced by meeting up with such friendly, helpful and informative travel industry professionals.”
