You collectively planned and implemented an ambitious trip visiting a lot of gardens, covering a lot of miles, in a way that insured we would both enjoy all the gardens, and overall feel safe and well taken care of.

Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride for two in the picture postcard city of Bath, explore the chocolate box village of Bourton-on-the Water in the Cotswold Hills or take an enchanting boat trip in the Lake District. Be seduced by Bourton-on-the Water, one of the prettiest villages in England, which is nestled in the Cotswold Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, thanks to the many low bridges that cross the river through the village, it is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset from one of the riverside greens.

A luxury weekend in London is perfect for couples. With some of the world’s finest hotels, a multitude of Michelin starred restaurants and the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely boat trip with dinner on the River Thames, there is so much to experience.
England also has the excitement and romance of its Royal Family, with Prince William and Kate, and their young children, Prince George, heir to the throne, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
A visit to Buckingham Palace is a must, but London has so much else to offer... first class hotels, theatres and restaurants, St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey where so many Kings of England are buried, the River Thames and Tower Bridge and the Tower of London itself.

The Lake District in the North West of England has been voted the most romantic place in the United Kingdom. The spectacular mountain scenery and expansive lakes once inspired the Romantic poets, such as William Wordsworth, and a romantic boat trip on Lake Windermere in the spring or summer sunshine is unforgettable.
Ireland too has its place at the top of the list of the world's most romantic getaways, with its long and exhilarating coastline dotted with pretty coves and traditional villages. There is always a warm welcome at the local pub and often the chance to enjoy authentic Irish music.
Glendalough is an ancient monastic site tucked in the Wicklow Hills, not far from Dublin. Arrive early to avoid the crowds and to experience your own moments of togetherness in this most magical of landscapes.

The king of Ireland’s romantic poets is WB Yeats, and one of his favourite places was Lough Gill in Sligo, which he famously romanticised in his poem The Lake Isle of Innisfree. Experience this wonderful setting from the shore or on board a traditional open boat.
The Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland is perhaps one of the most unique landscapes in the British Isles and is the perfect backdrop to a romantic day out. Again, visit early to avoid the crowds, but the Causeway Coast is vast enough to ensure you will be able to find your own private hideaway.

The Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye in Scotland are beautiful crystal clear rock pools fed by a series of waterfalls from the mountains. Accessible only on foot, there is nothing quite like this fairyland of natural beauty, which embodies a sense of magic in the sparklingly clear pools.
